Twenty more NFT projects & collectives building greater inclusion and diversity in web3

Last week I had the pleasure of releasing a curated list of Fifteen NFT projects & collectives building greater inclusion and diversity in web3. The post resulted in some amazing dialogue in the community where I was introduced to several other projects promoting diversity and building inclusion in the web3 space.

So, for this post, we highlight twenty more NFT collectives and projects that are promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in the web3 space. It goes without saying that this is not an exhaustive list, and we look forward to learning about more projects!

 

1. Pastel Persons – Pastel Persons in an inclusive and family friendly NFT collection with goal of building inclusion and bridging the gap to the web3 space for youth. 5% of proceeds raised through sales go to Girls Who Code, an organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in tech.

 

2. The Royals NFT – The Royals NFT is the first “luxury NFT” to showcase and celebrate African culture. “This NFT is bringing together a new Royal Family that welcomes everyone. By becoming a Royal, you are declaring your Royal status and showcasing African Culture in an NFT space that lacks representation.”

 

3. 90s Babes – 90s Babes is a generative collection of 10,000 NFTs that celebrate the history of women as agents of change and aims to empower women through NFTs. They also donate a portion of proceeds to organizations such as Female Strong, an organization dedicated to empowering young women to become future leaders.

 

4. Flower Girls – Flower Girls is a collection of 10,000 unique NFTs, generated from over 950 hand drawn elements. “The Flower Girls celebrate natural beauty, purity and diversity, raising the standards for Fine Art NFT Collectibles.”

 

5. Encryptas by CypherCHK – Encryptas is a collection of 10,000 “faceless coder chicks” each inspired by the fashion of millennial and Gen Z women. “Encryptas pays tribute to the new emerging power of girls blowing up the system through the Blockchain”

 

6. Fame Lady Squad – Fame Lady Squad is the first generative all female avatar NFT project. They have an extraordinary community that exists to provide opportunities and support to women of all backgrounds.

 

7. NFLips – NFLips is a collection of 10,000 randomly generated NFTs and has the goal of empowering more female artists to launch NFT projects through their community. NFLips also act as utility tokens for the first ever female launchpad dedicated to empowering women in NFTs.

 

8. WoW Pixies – Wow Pixies NFT is a collection of 5,555 randomly generated pixies “whose vision is to lift up and help bring Women led projects to the forefront by acquiring the biggest pieces from the many amazing projects like World of Women, Boss Beauties, Fame Lady Squad, Crypto Chicks, and many others”. Upon sellout, the project will be donating 5 ETH to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) USA and MMIW Canada.

 

9. Empower Women Planet – Empower Women Planet (EWPS) is a collection of 8,888 NFTs with the goal to “utterly revolutionize this space for women by providing them with the necessary tools to develop their careers and personal lives through a network of successful individuals all interconnected within the metaverse.”

 

10. Deeper Tones NFT Collective Deeper Tones NFT Collective is a collective for Black artists across the Diaspora. Their Black Money collection is a collection of 319 digitally transformed U.S. bills that “is intended to honor our Black American ancestors who deserve to be celebrated for creating pathways of freedom for black lives by minting them and their legacy on the blockchain.”



11. PixelSaurus – PixelSaurus is an NFT collection with over 700 designs that aims to embrace diversity. According to their website, “We live in a colourful world and we wanted to somehow represent this with PixelSaurus. We even embrace disability, mental health issues and phobias, too, and we try to steer away from gender stereotypes as well.”

 

12. Renaissance Women NFT – Renaissance Women NFT is an NFT collection that celebrates diversity, inclusivity, mental health, and women’s empowerment in web3, and aims to help onboard women into web3.

 

13. Women in NFTs – Women in NFTs is a community dedicated to connecting and highlighting women & non-binary people in NFTs. They operate a Discord community to help connect women in the space and facilitate partnerships with women-led projects.

 

14. Cyber Girl MetaverseCyber Girl Metaverse NFT collections include 5555 NFTs minted on the Ethereum blockchain, and 15,000 on Binance Smart Chain, all inspired by cyberpunk and diversity of femininity.

 

15. Bear Allies – Bear Allies is a collection of 2222 hand-drawn, unique NFT bears empowering diversity, equity, and inclusion. 10% of revenue from the project goes to Outright Action International, an amazing organization fighting for LGBTIQ rights around the world.

 

16. WoMeNFT – WoMeNFT is a collection of 1500 NFTs “representing a new era of gorgeous arts girls within the NFT world.” “The WoMeNFT Collection was created to highlight the importance of women in the crypto space and reflects the individuality and uniqueness of every woman.”

 

17. Bit Baddies NFT – Bit Baddies is a collection of 5000 Baddie NFTs and is the first female and LGBTQ+ project on Solana. The project was created “with inspiration from drag culture to highlight the beauty of feminine traits in NFT projects at a time when male traits dominated the Solana NFT space.” They aim to empower female, queer, and diverse artists, and donate a portion of their funds to organizations such as OutRight and Little Pink Houses of Hope.

 

18. Girlies NFT – Girlies NFT is a collection of 10,000 NFTs with the goal of empowering women in web3 and helping bridge the gender gap in the space. The artist mentions: “I hope my NFT project can bring more inclusivity and diversity into the NFT space while also inspiring women and young girls from all over the world to pursue art and anything they set their mind to.”



19. Unik Gals – Unik Gals aims to celebrate and normalize visible/invisible disabilities through their NFT collection. They are “the first inclusive brand spanned across the Metaverse, media, entertainment, fashion & entrepreneurship aiming to bring equity, diversity & disability inclusion into our Web3 Revolution.” 5% of proceeds go to PHMP, an organization addressing the need for mental health care for pregnant and postpartum women and girls in South Africa.



20. Girls Riding Things – Girls Riding Things is a collection of 3,333 “unique dames riding broncos, bombs, broomsticks, and more.” Each is generated randomly from over 300 possible traits. 30% of proceeds go towards supporting emerging NFT artists by purchasing their pieces, and 20% is donated to the Fistula Foundation.
