Join the 7 Stories of Social Change Experience highlighting how NFTs are a force for change.

Today, February 24th, 2022, from 2pm-5pm EST, Crypto Altruism Founder Drew Simon will be co-hosting ChangeDAO’s 7 Stories of Social Change Show. As the focus will be on this incredible experience, no new podcast episode will be released today.

This experience, hosted on Twitter and Spatial, is a celebration of NFTs as a Force for Change, and aims to elevate the stories of seven amazing changemakers who are using NFTs for good.

What is the 7 Stories of Social Change Contest?

At NFT.nyc in November 2021, ChangeDAO launched its contest seeking to elevate seven stories of social change; one for each of ChangeDAO’s seven areas of social change:

  • Financial Inclusion

  • Supply Chain

  • Health & Wellness

  • Energy and Environment

  • Identity & Vulnerable Populations

  • Education

  • Human Rights

The seven contest winners would receive ChangeDAO’s Genesis NFT: Peace. Love. Art.

To bring the story to life, ChangeDAO hosted 'gm coffee for social change' to learn from NFT artist legends, and to determine what the 7 areas of social change mean by engaging the community in a design thinking activity.

They synthesized all the expressions and insights into inspiration boards revealing what these 7 areas of social change mean to the community. Check out the results HERE.

The contest accepted entries for about a month in a pure grassroots campaign. The bar was intentionally set high, and ChangeDAO received a lot of great stories and seven that their team unanimously agreed were exceptional.

The 7 Stories of Social Change, a Twitter Spaces/Metaverse experience, brings this contest to life by elevating the personal stories of those seven Changemakers. An introduction to the seven extraordinary changemakers behind this experience are as follows.
